Online dating becomes inescapable…

In our modern world, we are so entwined in our cyber worlds. We meet people and often begin relationships where we share our innermost thoughts and desires assuming that it will stay “online”. But, what happens when we decide to go “real”? This is the situation with Adrian and Lily in this complicated story.

Boredom sets in (as does happen these days) so Lily, for a lark, tries her hand at online dating. She starts chatting to Adrian and things quickly go much more than mere sexy chatting (con you have at least always wanted to try even if you have not actually done it.  Some harmless fun…bit of ego stroking…it’s safe.

After chatting and some mutually fulfilling sexual stimulation Adrian jumps in “let’s meet in real time”.  Lily is intrigued and more than a little excited but at first reluctant. She finally admits that it sounds good and a “date” is made.

Adrian is an accountant trying to make a name for himself. A client that he has taken on proves to be hotter than he appeared and Adrian has decided his only option is to go to the police with what he knows.

Enter Seth, a conscientious, dedicated cop who plays by the rules. Well that was the case until he shows up at Adrian’s office to take him into protective custody on the same day that Lily and Adrian have chosen to meet for the first time. Unbeknown to all of them, it is also the same day that “the client” has decided that Adrian must not be around to testify.

Maybe to this point you think, “so predictable”…. think again!

Good tale. Characters are well developed and interesting. Well written and different.
