The Queen photobombs the Hockeyroos with a huge smile!

Perhaps the funniest photobomb to ever have happened, occurred last night at the Commonwealth Games, with the Queen stepping in behind two Hockeyroos in a spectacular photobomb.  Her personal joy is evident at being able to step in behind the photo with hockey players, Jayde Taylor and Brooke Peris just before their opening match against Malaysia.

And the Aussie pair are just delighted with their sudden Internet infamy which is going viral on Twitter and the Internet overnight.

“Ahhh The Queen photo-bombed our selfie!! #royalty #sheevensmiled #amazing” was the Tweet posted with the photo.

Later on in the evening, she tweeted it at the Ellen Show who were famous for their Selfie last year.   @TheEllenShow “I think our selfie tops yours! #queenselfie #queenphotobomb #hockeyroos #callme”

It is normally not considered “protocol” to include the Queen in random shots… but isn’t it great to see her in such a happy frame!
