Our thoughts are with Joan Rivers

Our thoughts are with Joan Rivers today following reports that she is in critical condition in a New York Hospital after a suggested cardiac arrest during a simple vocal cord surgery in a day clinic.  The 81 year old comic who says what we all think, but worse was rushed to hospital from the clinic by ambulance  after a 911 call was made in the US, according to TMZ reports this morning.

“We’re told … at one point, Joan’s heart stopped beating.

It’s unclear if doctors were able to restart the comic’s heart.”

8:15 AM PT — We’re told an emergency call was placed to 911 at 9:39 AM ET and the caller said, “We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest.”
