New South Wales Seniors Week

The New South Wales Seniors Week for 2014 is running from 15-23 March. The theme this year? Live life!

This event is the largest celebration for people over 60 in the southern hemisphere and as part of the festivities there are hundreds of free activities you can participate in!

This year marks the first Local Achievement Awards for seniors in the community, to find out if they are being conducted in your area or to nominate someone, contact your local Member of Parliament.

As part of the celebrations, there will be five Premier’s Seniors Week Gala concerts held at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney. You can purchase the tickets by clicking here. The Qantas is a tribute to the music of the 70s so get ready to get groovy!

So enjoy being a senior with circus classes, speed dating, salsa classes, computer classes, grand-parenting seminars, health speeches and so much more!

Starts at Sixty will be there so look out for the purple and white!
