Jacqui Lambie our national treasure

You know Senator Jacqui Lambie for the Palmer United Party? Well, she seems to have a penchant for saying the most bizarre and perhaps even inappropriate things when giving interviews.

This morning on Tasmanian radio show Heart 107.3, Senator Lambie was speaking to hosts Kim Napier and Dave Noonan when the subject of her ideal man came up. Most of the time when politicians are asked personal questions like this they brush them off with some light-hearted humour and an awkward answer. But, Senator Lambie took a different approach…

The hosts were on a mission to find her a man and when they asked what her ideal man would look like she replied with this gem…

“They must have heaps of cash and they’ve got to have a package between their legs, let’s be honest.”

And she followed that up with, “I don’t need them to speak, they don’t even need to speak.”

One caller, 22 year old Jamie rang in to speak to the 43 year old, mother of two (including a 24 year old son) Senator and her first question was, “So are you well-hung?” And then she continued to explain what that meant in relation to “hung like a horse”…

This, my Starts at 60 friends is who is making decisions about the future and prosperity of the country… Let’s hope her criteria for an “ideal” Australia is perhaps a little more constructive…
