Raw, no sugar key lime pie for the health lovers!

Key lime pie

 

We all love sweet treats, but those on diets don’t get to enjoy them as much as they’d perhaps like. So, to help, we have these awesome treats for our health food fans! No sugar and totally raw, they’re easy to whip up and taste fantastic!

Ingredients

Filling:

2 Avocados
4 Tbsp Lime Juice
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
2 Tbsp Raw Honey

Crust:
1/2 Cup Almond Meal
1/2 Cup Dates
Pinch of Salt

 

Method

  1. Place all of the filling ingredients into a blender and blend until a smooth, well mixed, puree.
  2. Process the dates, almond pulp and salt in a food processor until the mixture is smooth but still crumbly. Press this into a cake tin or mini muffin bases.
  3. Spoon in the filling and freeze for a few hours!
  4. Enjoy!
