Some seriously exciting news for women

It’s a tough gig trying to find a pair of jeans that fit and flatter in the right budget. But, thanks to one of our favourite shape wear companies, we might have found the perfect solution.

Ladies, meet the Spanx Jeans. It sounds too good to be true, but with apparel already in American retailers, it won’t be long before they’re available in department stores here.

The jeans, made of cotton, polyester and lycra blend are available in two different styles that have specially designed stomach control panels, strategically placed pockets and seaming to slim and fit.

They are available in sizes 26 to 32 (waist sizes) and cost A$148 per pair.

Spanx shape wear has been available for years and rose to fame with celebrity recognition from stars including Gwenyth Paltrow, Meryl Streep and Beyonce. And it has long been a staple in many Aussie women’s wardrobes.

But will the Spanx jean take off here? While it isn’t in retail stores, you can buy it online via the Spanx Australian website. Shipping here is flat rate $19.95 so you might want to pop some of the power panties or a shape suit in with your order to make the most of it.
