Simple Bread Dough Recipe

This recipe for simple bread dough made using a food processor can be used to make bread in the oven, or to make bread that can be cooked in a slow cooker if you use our Slow Cooker Bread Recipe.

Ingredients

1 sachet of yeast

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 1/2 cups of plain flour

1/2 cup boiling water

1 tablespoon oil

 

Simple Dough Recipe

This is a no-knead bread dough recipe designed to be made with the food processor…

  1. Put the yeast, sugar, salt, and flour into a food processor and
  2. Process with a blade attachment on low for 1 minute to mix up the flour and other dry ingredients.
  3. Slowly add water, then the oil.
  4. Process until dough is no longer sticking to sides, and forms a ball.
  5. Remove dough, form into ball.
  6. Place in greased bowl and cover with a towel.
  7. Let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes, or until doubled in size.

To cook, place into lightly greased loaf pan and punch dough down to fit the pan.

Bake at 180 degrees celcius for 45 minutes or until edges become crisp and golden brown. or put it into your slow cooker with our Slow Cooker Bread recipe.
