Two Aussie 60s music icons performing together in a huge first!

Overnight it was announced that two of the biggest names in Australian music history are coming together this year to give one concert that is sure to make any 60s music fan wish they were there.

Each of these iconic Aussie acts have careers spanning over 50 years, they have collectively sold more than 50 million albums and are both in the ARIA Hall of Fame and just to top it off they have all been awarded as Australians of the Year… Any guesses who it is?

According to the Brisbane Times, The Seekers and John Farnham will be coming together to give one hell of a concert at a location that may surprise some… The Moreton Bay Council, Decades Festival at Pine Rivers Park in Queensland.

The Brisbane Times quoted the Seekers’ double pass player, Athol Guy saying,  “The Seekers and John both began our careers in the 60s, and five decades later, we’re all still standing!”

The Decades Festival is all about showcasing life from the 1950s to the 1990s and will include cars, incredible music performances, vintage markets and so much more.
