Cooly Rocks On! [Australia’s largest nostalgia festival]

Do you love the 50s and 60s? Do you miss the dancing, the music, the cars, the clothes, the hairstyles or the fun? Well, reminisce on those golden days by heading to the Cooly Rocks On Festival this year!

It’s held from the 30th May to 9th June at Coolangatta and Tweed Heads on the Gold Coast.

The festival relives the ‘Happy Days’ culture of rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly and swing music, classic cars and hot rods, retro hairstyles and clothes and hanging five… Basically it’s the one stop place to relive all of the thing we loved most about the 50s and 60s!

Watch your favourite 50s and 60s stars including, Slim Jim Phantom, Jack Baymoore and the Bandits, Frankie J Holden and Wilbur Wild and relive the music that helped to make the 50s and 60s the best musical era so far.

There will be outdoor stages with 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll bands performing non-stop, memorabilia markets, a massive street parade, 50s and 60s dance classes, see the Queensland Old Mal Championships as well as an amazing car display and loads of 50s and 60s memorabilia on display around the Kirra surf precinct.

The event sponsored by the Gold Coast City, Tourism and events Queensland, the Tweed Shire Council and Twin Towns is an attraction that gets thousands of visitors every single year, so make sure you get a chance to reminisce and time travel back to the 50s and 60s by visiting Cooly Rocks On this year!
